LE DELI ROBUCHON - FOUR SEASONS HOTEL, DOHA, QATAR
Le Deli Robuchon introduces a casual delicatessen experience, emerging from the prestigious Robuchon group. The legendary French chef, Joël Robuchon, honored as "Chef of the Century" by Gault Millau and once celebrated for holding a record-breaking 32 Michelin stars—the most by any restaurateur worldwide—left an indelible mark with his extraordinary culinary establishments across the globe. Nestled under the majestic atrium of Four Seasons Hotel Doha, Le Deli Robuchon continues to celebrate his enduring legacy.
In a tribute to the natural world's splendour, Preciosa has intricately designed and created a mesmerizing installation for Le Deli, encapsulating the essence of a mythical sea. Lukáš Uliarczyk, the lead designer at Preciosa, drew inspiration from the mysterious beauty of jellyfish for this project. More than 350 stylized Medusas were created using four different types of crystal: crystal with bubbles, crackled crystal, lustre, and clear crystal. These variations give the installation an organic feel. Each component was also individually drilled and hung in a unique manner to closely imitate a jellyfish’s natural movement in the sea. The atrium’s ceiling features a corrugated metal sheet with a water pattern, reinforcing the sensation of being beneath the sea surface.
